How Merlion Logic Began
Merlion Logic grew out of a straightforward observation: most AI adoption advice is written for large organisations with dedicated technology teams. The owner of a retail shop, a small accounting firm, or a family-run food business faces a completely different set of questions — and a much tighter margin for disruption.
We started working with Singapore businesses in early 2023, offering single consultations to owners who had heard a lot about AI but had no clear picture of what it actually meant for their day-to-day. Those early sessions shaped everything — the plain language, the written documentation, the honest scope estimates.
Today our work spans initial consultations through to ongoing arrangements, always with the same pace: steady, documented, and aligned with how each business actually runs.

AI Tools in Small Business: The Honest Picture
AI assistants have become genuinely useful for a range of business tasks. Drafting a follow-up email, summarising a client call, producing a first version of a recurring report — these are real time savings for owners and small teams who handle a wide range of responsibilities.
They are also uneven. Some tools are well suited to a particular business context; others require more effort to set up than they return in value. The difference between a useful integration and a shelf-ware subscription is almost always in the preparation — understanding the workflow before choosing the tool, and configuring it carefully rather than copying a generic template.
Merlion Logic works with traditional trades, service businesses, and family-run firms across Singapore. Our clients tend to be careful decision-makers who prefer to understand what they're investing in before they commit. That suits us well. Our process is built around a single working session to assess the situation, followed by an integration only when the picture is clear and the scope is agreed.
We are based at The Central in Singapore and serve clients across the island. Engagements are conducted primarily through meetings and written communications — on-site visits are available for integration and walkthrough sessions where that's more practical.
